Flying 'em whirly birds Since over 3 years now I've been flying helicopters. It's for sure the most amazing job I could ever imagine and I'm enjoying it to the fullest! That's the reason I haven't updated my website in a while... Just been super busy and having so much fun working!
in.puncto I was invited by Nicole Köster to join her in her TV Show 'in.puncto' and talk about BASE jumping! We had a nice chat that I really enjoyed.
Guinness World Record !!! It finally got approved by Guinness World Records. The worlds highest static trapeze act!!! A massive thanx to Stephan who made this possible ;-)
Bridge Day 2009 After a long drive from Zephyrhills, Florida Kathy, Andrej, Jani and I finally made it to West Virginia to attend the oldes BASE jumping event...Bridge Day! The weather was crap but 4 days of non-stop party with heaps of friends that I didn't see for a really long time were awesome. I managed to get 4 jumps of the bridge which were super duper mega fun! I loved to bounce off that diving board...just too much fun. Check out some pictures of me jumping!
Europe Trip My trip to Europe was awesome! Besides seing my family again I had 4 awesome weeks BASE jumping all over Europe! I took my car and went on a big roadtrip through Switzerland, Italy, Austia and Germany. I did amazing cool jumps with my tracking gear and had great wingsuit flights! It was a super fun trip and I can't wait to go back!!!
Perrine Bridge What a fun trip it was! My buddy Spence and I hit the road and went to Twin Falls, Idaho for a few days to meet up with our brother Miles D! It was amazing! We had perfect weather the whole 4 days there and did really cool and super fun jumps! I did my first ever BASE jump on a round parachute. It was really good fun and I can't wait to go back to the bridge!
The Monkey I had the opportunity to join a climbing crew and went up with them onto the Monkey. First climbing that tower and then jumping off it. It was amazing and I can't wait to do that again! It was so much fun.
Switzerland I had a spontaneos idea and soon after that I found myself in the swiss valley! That were 2 cool days with awesome jumps and a good night of partying with a lot of friends!
US-Tour That tour was super awesome! A friend and I drove to the valley and jumped the biggest mountain there. I kicked ass again by tracking all the way over the big landing area and still opening high! It was unbelieveable and super cool! After that we went to Twin Falls, Idaho. We spent 3 day jumping the shit out of the Perrine Bridge and had awesome fun and really cool jumps! Then we were cruising on to Moab, Utah. We spent a long thanksgiving weekend there. After one rainy day we had 4 super nice days with many many awesome jumps. When this adventure was over we flew from Salt Lake City, Utah to San Diego, California and spent a week with our buddy Gee! That place was fun and we managed to get an antenna jump in the middle of the city. From there we hit the road again and did a quick trip to Las Vegas, Nevada where we spent some time in the Casinos but also on top of a sweet building... ;-) After driving back to San Diego we kept on partying there for another day before I flew back to San Francisco, CA and a day later cruised on to visit my firends and sponsor Morpheus Technologies in Zephyrhills, Florida. That was another super cool adventure and one more nice jump off an antenna! It was a super sweet tour but now it's time for some homework!!! Some pictures are in the picture section!
Nightjumps over Berlin Can you imagine to do a skydive over Berlin at night? I couldn't so far. Until I got this super unique chance. We took off at the city airport Tempelhof and went up to 13500ft. The landing area was in the middle of the city...on the city airport.
